The Government of Gujarat has launched the CMSS Scholarship 2024 to support students pursuing higher education such as Engineering, B. Pharma, MBBS, and Diploma of Paramedical. This scholarship gives the students financial support and pays 50% of the course fee on behalf of the students. So that the students & their families have less financial pressure when the students aim to complete their education at a higher level.

 The application process for the CMSS scholarship started on February 01, 2024, and the deadline is given on March 11, 2024. Students who are interested may apply as this scheme will provide them with an excellent financial benefit.

CMSS Scholarship 2024

Pursuing higher education is not cheap in India nowadays. The expenses are all-time high & almost unaffordable for some students. The course fees are one of the most expensive of all. To tackle this issue and help the students financially, the Government of Gujarat has launched the Chief Minister Scho Scheme (CMSS) scholarship. The scholarship pays 50% of the course fee on behalf of the student or provides the student with an amount of up to ₹500,000. The application process for the CMSS Scholarship started on February 01, 2024, and will end on March 04, 2024. CMSS Scholarship Eligibility 

Before applying for the scholarship, the students must have a complete idea about the Eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria are crucial for determining the Beneficiaries among the students. The Eligibility criteria for the CMSS Scholarship 2024 are as follows.

• The student must be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
• Applicants must have at least 60% marks in the 12th grade.
• The student must be a 12th pass-out.
• The students must be from reserved classes such as ST, SC, OBC, Shramik etc.
• The annual income of the applicant must be under 4.5 lakhs.
• The student must be enrolled in a government-recognised university.

CMSS Scholarship Registration & Application 

After getting complete knowledge about the Eligibility criteria for the CMSS Scholarship, the candidates may apply for the scholarship if they find themselves eligible. The students must register themselves if they aren’t registered in the scholarship portal. Otherwise, they can directly proceed with the application. The step-by-step registration & application process is described below.

• Visit the CMSS Scholarship portal via the URL: https://scholarships.gujarat.gov.in/.
• Select the option “Fresh Application”.
• Click on the “Register” button.
• Select your Department, standard,  admission year, & stream.
• Next, enter your enrollment number or seat number, date of birth, and your name.
• Enter your Email ID, Mobile Number, and Aadhar Number.
• Click on the save button to complete the registration process.
• As the registration process is complete, log into the portal using the generated credentials.
• Again, click on “Fresh Application”.
• Enter details such as Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Mother’s PAN number, Annual Family Income, Permanent Address, Bank Account Details etc.
• Enter the required academic details.
• Upload the necessary documents & save the application.
• Lock the application from your ID & finally submit the application. Keep a copy of the submission page for future requirements.

CMSS Scholarship Renewal 2024

Students who have already the beneficiaries of the scholarship in previous years can renew their application to get the benefit in the current academic session. The renewal process for the CMSS Scholarship is as follows.

• Browse the official website of CMSS Scholarship.
• On the homepage click on the option saying “Renewal Application”.
• Select Department, Admission After, Passing Year, and stream before logging in.
• Complete the login process and log into the website.
• Fill out the required details & upload the necessary documents.
• Click the option saying “Renew The Application” to finish the process.

CMSS Scholarship Status Check 

After the submission of the application, the students can check the progress of their application. The application status-checking process for the CMSS Scholarship is described below.

• On the homepage, click on the option saying “Student Status”.
• Select the Application type, Stream, Standard, Board, and Passing Year.
• Enter your seat no. & password.
